Here is a look at the top boys performers, from Class 1 to 5, in meets held through March 16.

While there weren't a lot of meets the first week teams could compete there were enough to provide some athletes the opportunity to post exceptional marks . 

And across the state, you had leaders in the top spots from all four corners of Missouri.

Park Hill South sophomore Thomas Garrett (pictured above) made the trip south to the Dallas suburb of Southlake, for the Texas Distance Carnival.

The super sophomore ran in the fastest section of the 3200, finishing with a MO#1 of 9:35.02 to place 21st in a field of 94. 

Similarly impressive was Herculaneum junior Nathaniel Wright. He won the 800 in the 1:55.23 for a 4.81 second margin of victory. The time put Wright in the top 50 in the country after the weekend.
