Ladue Girls
Ladue returns a solid squad from last season including Anna Nelson, who has become one of the best runners in the St. Louis area. Nelson was 16th last fall in Class 3, followed by another All-Stater, Kate White. With sub 12 minute 3200m runner, Jessica Stromsdorfer, those three should help the Rams move into Class 4. While they will have a tougher challenge in Class 4, the Rams look ready to succeed once again.
Coach Strayhorn Says...
"We are very excited to have over 50 girls joining us this season. We bring back 5 of our top 7 including all 4 top scorers at state. Anna Nelson (sr.) leads the pack with Kate White (jr), Jessica Stromsdorfer (jr), Victoria Soncasie (jr), and Eva Klingenberg (jr) working hard to compete for varsity spots. With over 50 girls, the competition is intense for all top seven spots. Moving to Class 4 will be a challenge, but our girls understand hard work and dedication and no matter where we race, we will compete to the best of our ability. "

"Our goal every year is to get on the podium at state. Finishing in 3rd place the last two years in class 3 has been a motivational experience for our young team. We know we will have to work even harder this year to even make it to state, but we are ready for the challenge. Good luck to all of you coaches and runners! See you at the finish line."
