44th Annual Eldon Maroon and Gold Track Invitational

Dear Athletic Director and/or Head Track Coach,

The following is information regarding the 44th Annual Maroon and Gold Track Invitational. The track is located at Mustang Memorial Park behind the Eldon Middle School, 1400 N. Grand St. 

Event Entries

Two entries per event and one entry per relay are allowed for each school. Coaches need to login to mo.milesplit.com.  You may enter your team's information starting Monday, March 27th. Coaches: Please enter all athletes as "Varsity" on your roster. Coaches can edit their entries online until Tuesday, April 4th at 12:00pm

Timing

  MoTiming will be timing the meet electronically

Coaches Meeting

2:45 pm: The  meeting will be held near the finish line.

Field Events 

Javelin: 3:15 pm

Order: Girls Discus, Boys Shot, Girls LJ, Boys TJ, Girls High Jump, Boys Pole Vault, Boys and Girls Javelin (cafeteria style with 2 hour window) 

Girls High Jump will start at 4 '2", Boys High Jump at 5' 2"

Girls Pole Vault will start at 6'0", Boys Pole Vault at 8'6"

Shot Put and Discus(4 throws) no finals.   Girls and boys throwing implements will be pooled.

Long and Triple Jump will be cafeteria style (4 jumps) no finals

Running Events: 4:00 pmScoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Girls' heats will precede boys

All heats are final

Fast heats will be last

No tape on track or runways

Track surface: Eight lane, all-weather track - 1/8 inch spikes only please.

Concession and restroom facilities are available.

Awards:

Trophies will be awarded to the Boys and Girls meet champions and a Boy and Girl high point award winner.

The top six individual and top three relay teams will receive medals. Please pick up medals at the end of the meet.

Entry Fee: $120.00 $60.00 per team (boys / girls)

Athletes need to enter the track at the North end (near the bullpen).
