9. Jacob Ewer - Kearney - JR - Class 4: Clayton Adams has ruled the roost at Kearney for 4 years now. He's on to greener pastures now which means a new Bulldog has to step up. That young man appears to be this rising junior, Jacob Ewer. He was the 2nd fastest freshman in 2015 with his lifetime best 5K of 16:24 and put down a 16:31 in his sophomore campaign. Ewer appears ready to man the reigns as evidenced by his quality track times: 4:38 and 9:52. Keep an eye out for the young man who has already shown enormous potential in a very short time.
