8. Gabe McClain - Blue Springs - JR - Class 4: 1:59/4:31/10:01/16:34. Most teams would love to have a kid with that range and stat line. Well, for Blue Springs, that's their #3! With his two teammates having made our top 15 boys rankings, McClain looks ready to help boost his Wildcats to the top. He's only ran under 17 three times, but that 16:34 came at last year's state meet and was good enough for 53rd. Expect McClain to make another big leap in 2017.
