Team Hackett is probably the most balanced team from 1-10. Even with C4 #2 Victor Mugeche's 15:17 PR holding down his #1 spot, his 1-10 split (1-10 split) is a mere 1:14. Hackett obviously did his research has many of his runners are solid, but fringe. He took Hillsboro's Kevin Koester with his 2nd pick and C4 #14 Blake Selm of Parkway West just after that, much to the chagrin of both Team Spewak and Team Deeken. His next picks were Rockhurst's new #1 Tom Seitzer and Lee's Summit North's Drew Reis. Central St. Joseph's Boston Small remained on the board for him at 50 after he reached for C2 #3 Kolin Overstreet of Lamar. Team Hackett then benefited from some late round steals as, somehow, Kirkwood's Christian Baker, Watch List #2, fell to him at 63. He is his current #2. He then picked up Helias Catholic's Jack Crull - C3 #11 - and stole C3 #4 Reece Jones of Pembroke Hill with his final pick. As we said, Team Hackett is solid from top to bottom and will absolutely compete this year as his guys throw down throughout the season.
