In 2012 Drexel finished second with a squad that had no graduates. All back for more, they benefit from the restricting of classes and Valle Catholic, last year’s champs have moved up to Class 2. The squad ran 8:33 last year and comes in with the best time from sectionals – 8:41.89. The boys from Linn County have the top time throughout the season as they ran 8:40 at districts. This race is truly up from grabs though. Six teams are within six seconds. When you put so many teams that close to each other not only will they run much faster, but anything could happen.
