Owensville is returning their top 6 from a state qualifier in 2016. Sophie Ashner is their top returner after a great freshman campaign. She went 19:48 in the fall and took 14th. She then turned around and dropped a stellar 5:12 1600 and 12:29 3200 in the spring and looks poised to break out in a big way as a sophomore. The Dutch(women? Lady Dutch...men?) top 6 loved the state meet last year as all of their personal bests were run there and should they get through again in 2017, look out for Owensville.
