Down the stretch they come
Westminster Christian junior Sydney Burdine, right, leads the field in the 400-meter dash finals as the group runs down the straight away. Next to her is Maryville senior Brooklynn Holtman and Lutheran St. Charles freshman Elle North. Burdine won, followed by Holtman and North.
Burdine, above left, also ran on the Wildcats' 4x200-meter relay. She is running next to Mountain Grove sophomore Jozey Sharp-MacPherson.
