Southern Boone County Eagle Alexandra Volkart soars down the finish stretch to win the Class 3 state title ahead of runner-up Zoe Martonfi of Eldon. Volkart added the state cross country title to go with her two state track titles, while helping Southern Boone to a 9th-place team finish.
Checkered and StripedClara Lackman races down the homestretch to the finish in her Blair Oaks checkerboard shorts while Claira Davis does the same in her Herculaneum candy-striped shorts. Lackman placed 51st and Davis 48th.
