When it comes to the 300-meter hurdles, the top 100 list of returning athletes -- freshmen, sophomores and juniors last year -- is full of athletes from across the state.
Particularly the top 10.
There are runners from Class 1 (Asher Buggs-Tipton), Class 2 (Isaac States), Class 3 (Bryce Payne), Class 4 (Matthew Malstrom, Daniel Williams) and Class 5 (Luke Furnell, Michael Lane (was Class 4), Kelvin Coleman, Deion Brown, Derek Grubb)
Pictured above, Helias Catholic's Matthew Malmstrom was the 2022 Class 4 State Runner-up.
Green City's Asher Buggs-Tipton claimed the Class 1 State title.
