Confirmed Teams: Blue Springs, Blue Springs South, Grain Valley, Liberty, Liberty North, Oak Park, Kearney, Lee's Summit, Lee's Summit North, Rockhurst,and Staley.
On the Girl's side the event to watch will be the 1600m. Madelynn Hill (5:05.31) and Tessa Valdivia (5:06.31) both could be in that race along with Elaina Hubner (5:16.39) and Kayla Wade (5:19.68) which would make for a really interesting early season mile. The Long Jump will also feature 7 athletes who have jumped 17 feet or farther led by Tamia Emerson (18-1) so we should see some good results there as well.
On the boys side Lee's Summit North has 3 boys, Nyles Thomas, Jamad Jackson, and Keyon Mozee, returning with sub 11 100m times so that by itself should interesting to watch. Also Victor Mugeche, Ryan Flood, and Oaklee Hauschild could match up in any of the three distance races which could make for a fun race. National Indoor Runner-Up KC Lightfoot is also likely to make his Outdoor Season debut in the Pole Vault, and he always puts on a show.
