As we head into May and the State Series, check out how the Class 5 team scores and virtual meet landscape shakes out.
*Note: These scores may not be completely accurate as Cardinal Ritter's Kauryn Durrah and Aziza Hendricks are both limited to JV competition only due to MSHSAA transfer policy. That takes 15 points off their current total, bringing them down to 65 on the surface, though it does have a ripple effect on other teams' scores, as well as theirs. MileSplit does not currently have a way to restrict non-Varsity eligible athletes from team scores/virtual meets automatically.
As we suspected, it is a three-team race between Ladue, Cardinal Ritter, and Blue Springs, with Liberty Kansas City looming not too far behind.
