Pretty outstanding, particularly with all his injuries. This is 3 seconds below his PR at Georgetown. An interesting stat: Amos is one of two eventual sub-four minute milers that ran at MICDS in 2009-2012. The other one was Jordan Mann who graduated who was Bartelsmeyer's teammate at MICDS from 2009-2012. Interesting questions: Has any other high school in Missouri had two athletes of its athletes eventually run sub 4:00 miles? Is there any other HS in the country that has two HS athletes who were teammates eventually run sub-4:00?

I think Bartlesmeyer's time is the 3rd fastest ever by a MO HS alum. Jason Pyrah has a 3:55.12. Odd note is that 4 of the 11 that have now broke 4 for the 1st time did so indoors in Seattle. All different meets. I think Jordan is the 1st MO HS alum to break 4 in Missouri but will not bet the farm on it.

Though not a full mile, Caleb Hoover ran a 3:41.21 1500 meter which converts to a 3:58.84 for the full mile. That would be 2 kids from College Heights.

Greg also showed that Brian Radle (Fox) holds the SEMO 1500m record in 3:41.82 (3:59.50 Full Mile conversion).

Interesting that Jason Pyrah didn't break 4:00 until 1995, considering how close he was as a high school senior in 1987 (I realize opportunities are generally limited to indoor track in college.) Sean Nunn Raytown South
