Do you see that? That's SIX Lamar boys in the top 20. This is going to be a dominant performance. It will be an exciting battle between teammates Overstreet and Venable for the individual title, too. We see a bounce back from Ashton who had a great state meet last year, but we are also looking at Caleb Cornelius for his own big race, too. We have no expectation that these predictions are even close to accurate, though, as Class 2 boys was a jumbled mess this weekend.
Teams (projected points)
5. California (155)
4. Steelville (138)
3. Stockton (112)
2. Fatima (100)
1. Lamar (26)
Oh my goodness. A slew of individual qualifiers in the top 20 brings Lamar's projected point total way down to under 30. While we do not know if that will hold up, we expect it to be at least under 50 which should be a pretty dominating victory for the Tigers. Fatima gave Lamar a run for their money at Capital City CC Challenge, but Lamar is in top form right now and appears ready to run away with the title this year.
