We are looking at not only the top 100 runners overall in Missouri but also breaking it down by grades. This is the last one for the boys.
Some of these ninth graders made an immediate impact. The top two runners were in the top 10 at the state meet and will be fun to watch the next three years. Heralded newcomer Jackson Miller was excellent for St. Louis University High School race after race.
Miller (pictured above) was the top finisher for the Junior Billikens in five of his seven races, leading SLUH to titles at the Granite City Invitational, Forest Park XC Festival, the Metro Catholic Conference championships, the Big River PR Invitational, and the Class 5 District 3 meet. Miller raced to a 6th-place Class 5 state finish in his Missouri Freshman #1 15:17 clocking at Gans Creek as SLUH claimed the 3rd-place state team trophy.
