The juniors in the state of Missouri have certain areas that have stood out. Raytown South's Zaya Akins is the fastest in the 100, 200 and 400 dashes. In the 100, fellow Kansas City runners Mikah Scott of Lee's Summit West and Lee's Summit's Jaurdin Mallory is third.
In the 200, Akins is followed by Blue Springs' Olivia Dixon, Scott and Mallory. Dixon is third in the 400.
St. Louis has the top three hurdles time in the 100 and 300 events. Genesis Dixon of Kirkwood is first, followed by MICDS' Maya Anderson and then Cardinal Ritter's Alexis Taylor. Anderson is first in the triple jump and Genesis Dixon is second in the long jump.

In the distance events, St. Louis area runner Grace Tyson of Lafayette Wildwood is first in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter run and third in the 800.
