It should come as no surprise that the fastest girls' sprinter between Class 1-5 this past season was Zaya Akins.

The Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year recorded the fastest time in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes this season. The Raytown South product was hard to beat and claimed three state titles this year in Class 5.

The largest schools dominated the list for the most part. In the 100-meter dash, four of the top five times were runners in Class 5. The same was true in the 200- and 400-meter dashes.

Pattonville's A'laji Bradley was ranked in the top five in all three sprints.

Skyye Lee of Parkway Central and Cardinal Ritter's Aniyah Brown was on both the 100- and 200-meter list.
