Though injuries hampered him late in the year, Green City junior Asher Buggs-Tipton was one of the best hurdlers all season.

In the top 100 rankings in both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, he cracked the top 10 in both distances. The Class 1 standout was the fastest in the 110-meters this year and ended up winning another state title in the event -- his third in third tries.

Kaiden Synder of St. James is the only hurdler to make the top five in both the 110- and 300. Luke Furnell from Lee's Summit West is No. 3 in the 110 and had two times in the top 10 in the 300.
