Caleb Cornelius is a clear favorite in this District and is a top 5 talent in Class 2 at the moment. District 1 is a tough district to call as Saxony Lutheran should cruise to second, but Arcadia Valley and Woodland are looming.

1. Jordan Heacock - Jefferson R-VII
2. Anna Heacock - Jefferson R-VII
3. Corin Carroll - St. Vincent

Top 2 Teams (State Qualifers)
1. Jefferson R-VII (projected points: 42)

A huge breakout from Malik Stewart has him in the drivers seat in district 2. Isaac Stout will be looking to take down the MRH sophomore, though, as the Lutheran North junior was top 15 ranked preseason.

3. Cole Kirchner - Clark County
4. Max Brandenburger - Bowling Green
5. Corbyn Harper - Clark County
Devin Neff took down Nathan Frazee handily at Bowling Green by 40 seconds this past week and did the same at Frank Lemons. Neff is coming along at the right time and may take down the top 5 ranked Frazee again this week.
Top 2 Teams (State Qualifiers)
1. Clark County (projected points: 53)
2. Centralia (projected points: 58)
Bowling Green looks like they may get a snub this year, but it is going to be very close between those three.
Top 15 Girls
1. Daelyn Schmauch - North Callaway
2. Kate Klott - Bowling Green
3. Kaleigh Moore - North Callaway
4. Kyla Bertschinger - North Callaway
5. Reyna Schmauch - North Callaway
Wow. North Callaway is dominant through four and could even be the best bet to take down Fatima if they could just find a stronger 5th runner. Their top girls have been interchanging all year, but we expect one of them to beat out Kate Klott and Kate to take 2nd.
Top 2 Teams (State Qualifers)
1. North Callaway (projected points: 37)
2. Bowling Green (projected points: 50)
Class 2 District 4 - Linn
Top 5 Boys
1. Cole Stephens - Linn
2. Jerod Nolie - Bourbon
3. Garrett Becker - Steelville
4. Harrison Frank - Russellville
5. Robert Morningstar - New Bloomfield
This is a tough race to call as many of these boys have been racing each other all year and it could be tight really between any of these 5 and Dalton Luebbert from Fatima.
Top 2 Teams (State Qualifiers)
1. Fatima (projected points: 55)
2. Steelville (projected points: 60)
Fatima is a sneaky pick to pull off a W here. Their 16 second split through 1-5 is stellar and they showed just how formidable they are when they took it to Lamar at Capital City and put a scare in them there. They are a lock on the girls side.
Top 15 Girls
1. Allie Gibbs - Steelville
2. Brianna Haller - Fatima
3. Kendall Haller - Fatima
4. Alyssa Church - Steelville
5. Alyssa Stuemph - Fatima

1. Fatima (projected points: 25)
2. Steelville (projected points: 70)
Book it, Fatima will win as a team. Also book it, Allie Gibbs is going to win individually. She has shown no signs of slowing as she ran 18:17 at her conference meet Monday.
