Predicting 2025 MO TF Class and District Alignments

Class 3

Incarnate Word's movement out after their 2024 team title will shake up the girls' team title outlook, but the boys' team champions will be back as Lamar stays firmly in the middle of the numbers. Fulton looks to be moving in after spending the cross country season in Class 3 and forms the top of the enrollment break at 494. It would appear that Trenton and Palmyra form up the bottom of the class with their 247 posting. There are 100 boys teams and 97 girls teams.

Teams moving into Class 3 include: Fulton, Odessa, Lafayette St. Joseph, Kairos Charter, West County, and Licking.

Private schools included in Class 3 based on the Championship factor include: Lutheran North (boys), Whitfield (boys), Principia (boys), and New Heights Christian Academy (girls).

District 1

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Once again, District 1 is primarily a Southeastern Missouri district, spanning from Bayless and Notre Dame St. Louis in South STL County all the way to the Doniphan and Kennett in/near the Bootheel. Top athletes in this district include: Nathaniel Wright, Ja'Kwon Jones, Paul Taylor, Kevin Thompson, Amya Bills, and Kale Clements

--

District 2

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

St. Louis City and a few schools in the surrounding area in STL County play host to this tight-knit district. Several private and charter schools come together with a handful of public schools, much like last season. Top athletes here include: Michael Clark, Ben Long, and James McCoy.

--

District 3

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 3 spans from North and West STL County, with several private schools from that area, all the way out to Montgomery County and up to Bowling Green. Owensville forms up the southwestern border with Borgia nearby. Like last year, its a district that combines suburban and rural schools unlike most other districts in the entire state. Top athletes in this district include: Chris Tao, Alexander Doty, Joe Sperino, Charles Glatz, Tyler Erwin, Adam Ashworth, John O'Brien, Eli Graham, Aiden Grote, Kyle Cotton, Brianna Krueger, Jersy Nelke, and Isabel Reinebach

--

District 4

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Last year, District 4 comprised most of Central Missouri and even pulled in Trenton and Chillicothe. We are predicting both of those schools push into District 8 with the movement of Fulton into Class 3, among other movements occurring. Palmyra and Macon will be the main outliers. Top athletes in this district include: Jaxon Engelbrecht, Caelan Harland, Tomas Gonzalez, Evan Pennewell, Aiden McDaniel, Effie Morris, Bryleigh Knox, and Kassena Ridgel

--

District 5

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 5 gets a bit hairy with several teams all residing within a similar window in South Central Missouri, moving toward Springfield. Some teams could end up in District 4, 6, 7, or even 1, as our prediction spans from Cuba in the east down to Liberty Mountain View and Willow Springs in the south, over to Ava in the west, Buffalo in the northwest, and back up to Eldon in the north. This was a tough one to predict on the borders. Top athletes include: Canyon Crowley, Will Richardson, Brooke Daniels and Jadyn Barnes

--

District 6

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 6 should be a classic Southwest Missouri district spanning from Springfield in the east all the way down to the Arkansas border and over to Seneca along the Oklahoma border. Top athletes in this predicted group include: Sinry Mendoza, Colton Willis, Jesse Barry, Brock Pendergraft, Gavin Ames, Savannah Dampf, and Makena Hall

--

District 7

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 7 makes its way up to Kansas City, starting with El Dorado Springs to the south. Several single-district schools in the West Central corridor make up this group, as well, before we get to the southern area of the KC metro. Expect some movement with Lexington heading down to Class 2 this year. Top athletes in this district include: Justin Brown, William Seitz, Wyatt KlaiberAlexis KinneyKylee Richey, Addilyn Wooster, and Brionna Johnson.

--

District 8

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Notoriously dominated by the northwest corner of the state, District 8 has migrated further south into the KC metro over the last few years because only a handful of Class 3 schools reside north of the Missouri River these days. We expect  to form up the southern border of this district that heads all the way up to outlier Maryville in the north. Top athletes include: Blaize Vaughn, Jacob Johnson, Carson SterlingLydia Bonderer, Aaryn Lanier-Collier, Brylee Acklin, Morgan Hilbrich, Lauren Waldron, Kaylee King, Kamryn Florea, and Eva Alexander
