Predicting 2024 MO TF Class and District Alignments

Class 1

Class 1, always with the largest number of teams of any of the classes as a result of the disregard for the 2.0 differential, has 147 boys teams and 152 girls teams. The cutoff for Class 1 appears to be 121 enrollment this spring, with Frederick Douglass High School sitting at the top.

Teams moving from Class 2 into Class 1 based on enrollment changes include the Greenfield/Dadeville co-op, Maysville, Scotland County, Galena, Gallatin, and New Haven. The Lutheran Kansas City girls will stay in Class 1 this year as their Championship Factor has expired. Valley, La Monte, Halfway (girls), and Frederick Douglass (boys) all appear to be new this year and starting out in Class 1.

District 1

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 1, much like in all of the other classes, is made up of the southeastern-most schools of Class 1, plus a couple of St. Louis City/County schools.

Featured athletes include Namarius Warren, Jaxson Houf, Camden Mayes, Kanden Bolton, Alex Kuchera, Elijah Propst, Jacob Schremp, Blake Dorris, Seth Senter, Kale Richardson, William Folk, and Kastin Cleaver.

District 2

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Like District 1, District 2 encompasses a massive area of land in the East-Central part of the state. Pilot Grove and Bunceton are the furthest western schools, 135 miles away from Clopton in the east. Stoutland forms the southern border with New Franklin 109 miles north.

Featured athletes include Drake Clark, Gage Marshall, Lewis Wray, Kade Wright, Cole Fessler, Nadeen Zeller, Mallory Shaw, Akaela Caquelin, Bethany Slovensky, Alyssa Hees, Abigail Mooney, Sarah Backes, Jolene Sorrells, Katherine Holtmeyer, Mekela Waters, Sydney Morris, and Aubri Meyer.

District 3

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Sectional 2 is primarily made up of schools in the northeastern and North-Central corridor of the state. Glasgow and Slater form up the southern border of the District. The rest of the border is formed by the Illinois and Iowa borders.

Featured athletes include Amos Fredrickson, Cooper Clair, Shaun Luecke, Colby Jenkins, Ryan Graves, Jalen Knox, Nate Triplett, Colton Sellmeyer, Kwyn Hamlin, Addison Barringhaus, Macy Davidson, Joslynn Brown, Journey Sander, Kennedy Kearns, Kaitlyn Monnig, Aubrey Borgmeyer, and Abigail Locke.

District 4

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Because Class 1 tends to snake from Northwest to Southwest, then back up to the north and so on, throughout the state, District 4 typically includes states which reside in the North-Central part of the state, while District 5 is Southwest. Districts 3 and 8 may have some of these schools depending on how the boundaries lie and the host schools work out. Novinger lies furthest east, Braymer, Tina-Avalon, and Hale lie furthest south, North Daviess lies furthest west, and the Iowa border forms the northern border.

Featured athletes include Asher Buggs-Tipton, Talan Holt, Aleczander Kelly, Griffin Hughson, Gauge MacGregor, Zackary Cross, Hunter Miller, Kaden Stone, Tyler Meinecke, Tristin Harrison, Tucker Singer, Tanner Singer, Tyler Singer, Kelsey Frederick, Abby Jones, Molly Milazzo, Madi Ostermann, Madison Carvajal, and Ava Langfitt

District 5

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 5 usually encompasses the furthest southwestern corner of the state, picking up schools that go as far east as Bakersfield, Dora, and Nora which are more South-Central. Liberal and Walnut Grove help form the northern border with Everton, Golden City, and Lockwood.

Featured athletes include Kameron Clark, Cade Nold, Lane Wood, Ben Smith, Carter Hayes, Caleb Widner, Nikolaus Thieman, Jasmine Temich, Abby Barton, Gretchen House, Lily Woodward, Kaesha Walter, Melanie Rice, and Kylee Melton

District 6

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 6 sits just above District 5 and just below District 7, with several schools in the Lake of the Ozarks region and lying between Clinton and Highway 160. Drexel forms that northern border with Fair Play sitting furthest to the south. Macks Creek and Climax Springs form the eastern border.

Featured athletes include Cash Anderson, Preston Anderson, DeJuan Chambers, Caleb Phillips, Justus Yates, Michael Parrigon, Bennett Mantooth, Brayden Chandler, Tahlon Harding, Devin Steeley, Zane Becker, Andrew Mays, Daylan Black, Virgil McGinnis, Aden Hicks, Josie Parks, Kendall Ramsey, Hailey Hearting, Kady James, Amparo Payne, and Lainee Swaters.

District 7

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District 7 usually encompasses a radius in the Northwest-Central part of the state. In this projection, we have the northern border of the District formed by Northland Christian and Polo, with Midway and Chilhowee forming the southern border. District 7 spans to Sacred Heart and Northwest Hughesville in the east. This is an interesting part of the state where only a few miles can put a school in Sectional 1 or Sectional 4.

Featured athletes include Wyatt Brosch, Kayden Gabbard, Camden Uptegrove, Lane Hass, Jackson Manning, Jonathon Harris, Weston Crawford, Garret Hoyes, Dominick Johnson, Maverick Gentry, Gage Gilbert, Annabelle Ball, Addison Grossenbacher, Ashley Feiden, Isabelle Wood, Dakota Reynolds, Hanna Vaught, and Kameron Dankenbring.

District 8

Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

District should not look too different from past years. It will occupy its spot in the northwestern most corner of the state, picking up most of that area's smallest schools.

Featured athletes include Michael McIntosh, Keaton Zembles, August Meadows, Chauncey Brown, Justin Miller, Nathaniel Giffin, Ernest Peters, Collin Hedlund, Elias Alarcon, Emma Spencer, Marli Hilton, Tommi Martin, Avery Meyerkorth, Mya Wray, Norah Watkins, Ella Meyerkorth, Elizabeth Schlueter, Kelsey Crabtree, Annabelle Gardener, Riley Ridge, Katelyn Jones, Abigail Troncin, Eva Engel, Ava Barnes, Katlyn James, Rylee Jenkins, and Emma Mercer.
